Anne Finley - Acoustic Guitar / Sax / Vocals / Keys

BIOGRAPHY

Keswick Ontario based recording artist, singer/songwriter Anne Finley has been performing since the tender age of six. Raised in Pefferlaw, she has performed at various venues throughout Ontario since the early 90’s. Anne has enjoyed working with some of Canada’s top musician’s like Don McDougall (Colin Amey’s band Sleeping Giant), Paul ‘Chappie’ Chapman, Wendell Ferguson as well as sharing the stage with Aaron Prichett and The Road Hammers. A little closer to home Anne and her band have been a regular feature for the Annual P.A.R. Picnic in Pefferlaw as well as performing at the Sutton Fair and the Fergus Truck Show.

What makes Anne a little (lot!) different from most female artists is she’s a bona-fide trucker! Anne was named to the 2009/2010 Road Knight Team by the Ontario Trucking Association in February 2009. (www.ontruck.org) When she’s not rolling down the road, she’s performing her music.

Anne’s Radio singles ‘Playin Second Fiddle’ & ‘Missing Piece’ receive airplay across Canada, Australia and The Netherlands and Georgina’s own NISH Radio.

Anne has been featured on the Canadian Trucking News Radio and on xm171 Satellite Radio as well as being the ‘Feature Artist’ for Fort McMurray Alberta’s Country Radio Station. These shows profiled Anne’s driving career as well as her music.

Anne has a powerful distinctive voice, definitely one of the best female voices on the music scene. Backed by her band ‘BAR NONE’, a great group of musicians, each band member having over 20 plus years of touring and performing to their credit.

One thing is for certain, Anne’s soaring vocals will leave you wanting more!

Bill Petrie - Bass / Vocals / Keys

BIOGRAPHY

Bill started playing big band & jazz guitar with his father at the tender age of four.

His first band was in public school playing standards and pop hits of the day. Additionally he was introduced to accordion, piano and clarinet through his early years focusing on classical and contemporary music.

At 13 Bill started playing bass. “Everyone wanted to be the guitarist, I chose Bass.”

Bill has played bass and guitar in various bands since crafting his chops in funk, blues, rock and freeform jamming. Also, Bill stayed in Jamaica for an extended period learning and playing Raggae music.

Bill is a true multi-instrumentalist, solo artist, North American touring musician, published songwriter (Chappell Music), producer/engineer (co-founed Studio B). The venture with Studio B grew to include recording many Canadian artists both Indie & Mainstream – Juno awards/nominations, record sales citations, FACTOR recognition, then off to NYC to produce/engineer more artists.

Bill has also had the pleasure of working with Andrew Walsh (guitarist extraordinaire) and Jam Doctor (Pink Floyd/Jethro Tull Tribute).

Currently, Bill is focused on composing original soundtrack material for the gaming industry (www.TKS.com).

Biography

Paul spent his early life in music in Toronto's Garden district at St. Michael's Choir School (Matt Dusk, Kevin Hearn (Barenaked Ladies), Andrew Craig (Molly Johnson)).

He has performed throughout Ontario, Quebec and the eastern seaboard and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many great musicians including performances with champion fiddler Don Reed (Dwight Yoakam) and Juno-nominated producer Martin Alex Aucoin (Jack DeKeyser, The Wilkinsons).

Phil Ferguson - Drums

Biography

Born: Liverpool England! (he's the 6th Beatle!)

Emigrated to Canada in '68. Phil has been playing drums since he was 7 years old.

Phil says, "Beatles were a huge influence in my playing and music...especially Ringo!!" , "I've played mostly Classic Rock until he met Anne Finley!", who introduced him to New Country.

Since they formed their band 5 years ago, Anne & Phil are inseperable when it comes to music. They incorporate a wide variety of genre's in the band.

Drummer "hero's".....Ringo, Keith Moon, Ginger Baker, John Bonham, Gene Krupa.

Phil plays the world's best drums...Sonor!!!! Favorite "quip"...."If you see a guitar player drowning, throw him his amp!!"
